Google Gives a Hint of the Possible name for the Latest OS Android P

After the launch of Android 8.0 (Oreo) last year, Android users have been on expectations as to what version of Android Operating System is coming, in which Google came through with Android P (9.0). Although people are yet to figure out what the P stands for or its meaning but earlier this year around January, it was revealed by an insider that Google developers were referring to the next version of the Android OS as ‘Pi’.

Google Gives a Hint of the Possible name for the Latest OS Android P

Concerning the speculations about the name, Google has shared a few wallpapers for the Spring season on their Instagram page, with a particular image that led fans to speculate about the Android P as a dessert name. As shown above, the image features a bunch of popsicles which shows that Android P might be called Popsicle.

As of now, Google hasn’t released an official statement on the matter and until the company does so, we can’t really be sure of what Android P might be called.
